Baden Powell, the founder of scouting, said “A week of camp life is worth six months of theoretical teaching in the meeting room.” We strive to camp once per month year round.
Scouting Skills
There are many skills for every Scout to learn along the trail of their scouting career. Camping, cooking, personal management, and so much more.
Leadership
We believe that scouting is best when it is led by the Scouts. Adult leaders are in attendance to ensure safety and to provide guidance. Troop 387 is a youth led troop with leaders chosen by their peers.

About Us
Idaho Falls Troop 387 was founded in 1954 and is proudly charted by the Exchange Club of Idaho Falls. We meet regularly on Monday evenings at 7pm at the Elks Lodge at 640 E. Elva St.
