Scout Camp Subcommittee Report: “Pull from written notes”  2026 – Camp Easton, Deposit has been madefor 20 scouts. $1030.00, 1st half payment was made 2/2/26 for $5891.60. Balance is approximately $5,700.00 plus fees by April 5th for Early Pay(540). Class sign-ups start around the first week of April. Emails should tell us this soon for a beginning webinar. Make special note of the zip line as it fills up fast. There are 10 spots per class. Anna has been added to our Camp Roster. Direct electrical access is available at the site as long as your need is listed on your registration. Electricity is also available via extension cords(note to bring extra cords). They also have daytime charging areas available. SCUBA classes rarely fill up, and if they do, they will add an instructor, so there will be no issue signing up.

Training Subcommittee Report: A few:

Service hours report:

Membership & Attendance Reports:  Isaac is the new scrib. We have a makeshift roster made for the meeting yesterday. Josh has the new parole leaders updated on the website as well.

Advanced Chair Report: A lot of kids in the middle, a lot in scout rank. Drew B. needs a scoutmaster review to rank up. We need to work on a day hike for the scouts that need the 1st class compass and hike requirement to rank up. We haven’t scheduled our spring court of honor, so we could squeeze in a hike or bike trip to fulfill the requirement.

The Totin chip and the fireman chit are inconsistent – we should do a crash course to fulfill those requirements. Let’s add this to the ILST campout.

Eagle Scout Updates: We are planning a mini badge pow wow for requirements that are rarely available at camps and winter pow wows to help with completing Eagle Scout requirements.

Reports from any Event Committees: Aimed sports have been booked for May 8th, 9th & 10th. If we are going to include archery again,n we should schedule an extra day of training before the campout. We need to start planning training dates now and make sure everyone is available. We have a capacity of 40 for the campout, so let’s create a preliminary head count. 20 gauge and 12 gauge shells, as well as piggons, will be needed.  How much ammo do you think we will need for the campout? One training on the 27th,4th, and the following Friday? We need to see who will be willing to come to these trainings.
